This Repurposed Porpoise hopes to raise social awareness about (creative) ways to reuse and repurpose materials. The idea for this sculpture came from a desire to make a stuffed animal that is not only friendly, but also environmentally friendly. The exterior fabric is reused from off-cut textiles; the interior is stuffed with fabric remnants. By reusing what would otherwise be thrown away as trash, we can decrease what ends up in our landfills and oceans.
